Self-taught artist born in Communist Romania, my work reflects my multicultural identity, a life marked by departures and the absences that follow. Along the itinerant path of my life, contact with India, my cultural and spiritual experience with this country, deeply transformed the act of painting, which shifted from a simple hobby to an urgent need for expression.

In a desire to abolish separating distances, the notions of "stitching" and "entanglement" became evident to me, as well as the idea of a "universal interdependence." The ancestral act of weaving and the symbolism of fiber – through its omnipresence in the structure of life – are embedded in my approach as elements of collective cultural memory. In a reflection on poetic language, the thread and the fiber are both texture and text.

My work revolves around a complex blend of media through which I explore the architectures of space, time, and memory, whose boundaries constantly blur and shift. This is expressed through textile installations, leather weaving from recycled materials, and paintings often approached in a "support - surface" manner.
